What is a Mini Moon?

What is a Mini Moon? Helen Brahms | Have2Cruise | Have2Travel | Mini Moon | Wedding | Honeymoon

Great question! Many couples today are opting to take their honeymoon a few months or up to two years after their wedding. This could be because their work schedules don’t allow them the time off they need. It could be they want to take a big vacation, but with all the craziness surrounding the wedding prep they don’t have time to plan anything. It could also be because of budget constraints. They just had a wedding and the budget doesn’t stretch enough for a honeymoon too, so they want time to save up and have the honeymoon they want.

Couples are now looking at taking a Mini Moons which is a 2-4 night getaway close (within 2-3 hours) to where they live or where the wedding was held. This is just a short break immediately after the wedding, and yes, it includes the wedding night. A Mini Moon doesn’t have to be anything fancy. It is just something they can do to chill and relax after all the craziness surrounding their wedding before they dive back into their everyday lives.

If you are planning a wedding and don’t have the time or the budget to plan a honeymoon then call your travel professional. They can help you plan your Mini Moon and later your honeymoon.
